This brought back a lot of great memories. Thanks :D

YakityYach responds:

Thank you for enjoying it as much as I did making it :D

I like this a lot.
It really does have that Persona sound to it.
I think it's the repetition of the mysterious and unfamiliar chords accompanied with the active drums kinda doing their own thing.
Also are those Guitar Pro drums?
I think I recognize the sound as the Guitar Pro RSE, but I could be wrong.

Jeepis responds:

Yes.

I like some things about it, no doubt it needs work though.
One thing that particularly irked me was the quality of the drums, which was rather low in my opinion.
Sounds like a bad sample. I recommend synthesizing your own drums if you didn't already, and if you did, good job for trying and keep it up.

Just listened to this on loop while stringing up my friend's guitar as a spontaneous little mitzvah.
Very nice piece to accompany me on various occasions :)

Oh, so the instrumentalists were singing!

To me it's a cross between Danny Elfman and Bruce Faulconer, two of my favorites.

Ahh that chord progression in the beginning.
It is much preferable to the one used in pop music derived from Pachelbel's Canon.
I think it should gain more popularity...

This piece fills me with wonder, illustrating to me vast panoramas and spectacles in an atmosphere and environment so alien yet so familiar.
Like something ancient being discovered for the first time by a youth exploring in the wilderness.

I very much appreciate that you know how to use your voice. I mean that in this way: not only do you have a wonderful singing voice (classically trained, I am assuming) but you use it's strengths to sing in the appropriate style and in an appropriate genre.

My I am rambling.
I have been up all night.

Anyway, I love this work, and I'm glad to have stumbled upon you and your various works here. It actually feels rather similar to the feelings and images that I get from this amazing musical piece of yours, actually... I think there might something to that.

Jessismith responds:

This is a beautiful comment. Thank you for sharing it. :)

It's nice. Makes me think of the Bleach soundtrack a bit. You might, as Waidmann said, consider changing it a bit to make it a little more interesting, but seeing as you probably want it as a background piece, it should work fine. The loop seems a bit rigid too, though. It also felt like it ended too fast for the song.

I'd put this under Video Game.
Quite nice, I like the way it resolves, it's not quite the same as most clips that end using suspended and then major or minor chords.
